SHIPPING AND PROCESSING TIME: We ship from April to the end of October. We also try to ship during the winter by adding 48 hour shipping heater packs, at no cost to you, when temperatures are near freezing; however sometimes your order may be delayed until the weather cooperates. When weather is right for shipping again we will email you the shipping date.

Therefore please consider your weather carefully when placing your winter order or give us a delayed shipping date for milder weather. To avoid your parcel waiting for you in freezing temperatures, we require USPS signature confirmation for an additional $1.90 during the months of November through March.

We ship most purchases within two weeks after you have place your order. Most plants are shipped bare rooted, individually wrapped and labeled. We can ship small and rare plants in their pots for an additional cost of $2.50 per plant for plants in 4.5 inch pots or smaller.

We only ship plants to the continental United States. We ship all other items internationally, but you will need to email us to ask for a shipping quote. There is no standard fee, all countries are charged differently and have multiple shipping options.

SHIPPING CHARGES: To minimize transit time we ship U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail for all plant sales and botanical print sales for $6.75 per order. Large orders or orders with large plants will be charged actual postage plus insurance. With the new postal rates on May 14, 2007 shipping cost are calculated by the size of the box in addition to destination. We will send an email with the shipping charge we when we are ready to ship your order. Most orders will arrive in 2-3 days. For book sales shipping is $6.75 via U.S. Postal Service Media Rate. Large orders and oversized books will be quoted actual shipping cost plus insurance via email. Most orders will arrive in about 2 weeks, but can take as long as 4-6 weeks for delivery. We must collect Wisconsin sales tax so residents need to add 5.5% sales tax on products.

TERMS: Payment must accompany all orders. We accept a check, Paypal (send payment to raresucculents@verizon.net when asked for email address), money order, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. Checks need to clear the bank before plants are sent.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: Can’t decide on what to buy, gift certificates are available in the Gift Shop starting at $25.00.

GUARANTEES: We are proud of what we grow. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order upon arrival, we will do our best to make it right. We will accept the returned plants for an exchange or a refund of the full purchase price within the first week of arrival.
